About Us

Interstate Baptist Association, founded in 1958, comprises a network of over 70 churches from the Portland metropolitan area west to Tillamook, south to Wilsonville, and east to Rufus in Oregon; in Washington north to Amboy and east to Goldendale. There are 14  languages other than English spoken every Sunday morning among our network of church families. As an association, IBA focuses on four main ministries: Disaster Relief, Children's Ministry, Collegiate Ministry, and Pastoral Care.

IBA hosts opportunities for disaster relief training and mobilization for churches to join disaster relief missions locally and globally. The Association also provides an exceptional children’s camp every summer for children grades 3-6 for all of our churches and even partner churches outside our association.

Another important ministry IBA is a part of is its support of 9 collegiate missionaries across 7 different college campuses here in the Portland area.IBA also has regional zone meetings once a month in which church pastors and staff can build community with one another.

Ultimately, the heart behind Interstate Baptist Association is to bring churches together to collaborate and share resources to further the Kingdom of God both in the Portland region and around the world.
